CBBC puts Horrible Histories at heart of ambitious home-schooling initiative

CBBC have launched the largest ever educational TV initiative with daily five hour package of programming to help children, parents and teachers through the latest phase of Covid-19 restrictions. Lion's hit comedy series Horrible Histories has been chosen as one of the key programmes at the heart of the CBBC initiative.

It's been described as a 'lifeline' for parents who once again face months of home schooling, and filling a gap for more than 850.000 British kids who don't have access to reliable broadband.  The production team, currently in production on series 9, are thrilled that Horrible Histories can play a small part in helping mitigate the worst effects of the latest impact of the pandemic on youngsters.
