Horrible Histories goes to the BBC Proms

The Horrible Histories team are to host a BBC Prom on ‘Orrible Opera with English National Opera, Birmingham Stage and CBBC at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 22ndJuly. 

An audience of 7,000 will be able to see some of their favourite Horrible Histories characters and many opera classics. From dying divas and spellbinding sorceresses to ghosts and generals, it will be a high-decibel dive into the Horrible History of Opera. The performance will contain the very best of music’s biggest, bloodiest and most dramatic genre, and the stories behind some of opera’s best-loved characters in the company of favourite Horrible Histories characters.

The concert experience has been specially devised with English National Opera Chorus and Orchestra and will be broadcast on CBBC.  Horrible Histories last did a hugely successful prom at the Royal Albert Hall in July 2011.
