Horrible Science Nominated for a 2026 International Emmy®
We’re thrilled to announce that Horrible Science has been nominated for a 2026 International Emmy® Award in the Kids: Factual & Entertainment category.
The Lion Television production is one of four programmes nominated in the category, alongside programmes from Japan, Norway and Brazil. The nomination recognises Horrible Science among an outstanding selection of television programmes from around the world.
The 2026 International Emmy® Awards feature 64 nominees across 16 categories, representing 22 countries, with nominees spanning countries including the United Kingdom, Japan, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Canada and South Korea.
Since its launch, Horrible Science has brought science to life through comedy, sketches, experiments and plenty of chaos, making scientific ideas entertaining and accessible for young audiences.
The nomination comes as the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences prepares to welcome nominees to New York for the International Emmy® World Television Festival, taking place from 20–22 November. The winners will be announced at the 54th International Emmy® Awards Gala in New York City on Monday 23 November 2026.
