Tomb Hunting for the Smithsonian

The discovery of dozens of stunning coffins, sarcophogi and other priceless artefacts was announced at a recent press conference at Saqqara by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities.  These discoveries form part of a forthcoming series Lion in association with At Land Productions have been filming for the Smithsonian Channel for TX in 2021.  The richness and quality of the finds, mostly from the Egyptian Late period, are of a quantity and quality unmatched in recent years in Egypt. The series are filming as the archaeological team gradually reveal the full extent of a remarkable ancient necropolis.
