Ben Rogers
Development Executive
Ben is a Development Executive focusing on comedy, children’s and entertainment. Whilst at Lion, he has worked across both the development and production of Horrible Histories, Horrible Science and Balamory.
Despite a series of mediocre GCSEs and A-Levels, and a much-derided arts degree, Ben has held roles at Tiger Aspect, Rumpus Media and BBC Studios, producing and developing shows with top comedy talent such as Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, Sally Phillips and Jamali Maddix. His career highlights include showrunning three series of Drunk History (Comedy Central), retracing the footsteps of Richard Pryor (Passions, Sky Arts) and helping to transform Jamie Laing, Lorraine Kelly and Chris Kamara into lousy detectives (Murder in Successville, BBC3).
