Charlie Lowes

Charlie joined Lion Television in 2022 and oversees the company’s legal and business affairs across a diverse slate of scripted and unscripted productions. Since joining Lion, Charlie has worked on programmes for wide range of broadcasters and streaming platforms, both in the UK and internationally, including Horrible Histories and Horrible Science (CBBC), Mysteries of the Terracotta Warriors (Netflix), Irresistible: Why We Can’t Stop Eating (BBC, CBC, Arte), Alexander: the Making of a God (Netflix), Pompeii: The New Dig (BBC, Arte, PBS), The Lost World of the Hanging Gardens (CBC, PBS, France TV, ZDF, SVT), Alan Cumming's Paradise Homes(HGTV/Discovery+) and Inside the Tower of London (Channel 5).

Charlie’s legal expertise spans the media and entertainment sector. Prior to joining Lion, she trained at international law firm Dentons, spending time on secondment to publisher, Informer Plc, before joining the legal team at Warner Music.
