Lisa Hazlehurst

Lisa oversees Lion’s business in Scotland,  is Executive Producer of all its output and was responsible for successfully completing the move of Lion’s flagship show Homes Under the Hammer (BBC One) to Glasgow.

Lisa oversees a broad church of programming from Specialist Factual and Documentary, to Daytime and Features to children’s and brand funded, scripted and unscripted. Recent shows include Stolen: Catching the Art Thieves (BBC Two) Alan Cumming’s Paradise Homes (Discovery +) Belfast Midwives (C4) and Style it Out (CBBC)

She has overseen the creation of numerous in-house training schemes as well as supporting industry traineeships for emerging talent in Scotland.

Lisa began life as a journalist and presenter for several broadcasters before moving into programming.

Lisa is a BAFTA and RTS judge and a former Chair of the Royal Television Society Scotland Awards. She is a mentor for Women in Film and TV and a board member of Witsherface SCIO which aims to make the arts accessible to everyone while developing talent in Scotland.
