Multi-award winning Executive Producer Steph Atkinson joined Lion TV in 2021 after 20 years at the BBC. Starting his career as Staff Editor on the Emmy nominated Son Of God he moved into production as a Producer/ Director across Entertainment, Children’s, and Religion and Ethics. Steph then focused on Documentary and Current Affairs programming including Panorama, Escape from the Most Dangerous Place on Earth and the Grierson award winning Anatomy of a Crime.
Since joining Lion, Steph has successfully developed 22 Kids and Counting over six series. He is currently working on a variety of development projects including a new series of police cold case investigations for Channel Five.
